On Friday, January 5, 2018, American 1 Credit Union announced the promotion of Kristi Edgar to Executive Vice President of the credit union.
Edgar began her career at American 1 in 2002 and has had a progressive increase in responsibilities and positions, leading to her most recent position of VP of Marketing and Communications, which she has held since 2007.
As a lifelong resident of Jackson County, Kristi currently serves on the Community 1 Co-Op Board and as a Jackson County Parks and Recreation Commissioner. She has previously served on the boards of Allegiance Health Foundation, Cascades Humane Society, and Jackson School of the Arts.
This promotion follows the succession of former American 1 Executive Vice President Martha Fuerstenau to her new role as President/CEO of American 1 Credit Union on January 1, 2018.
