American Eagle Financial Credit Union continues Grand Opening Celebration in Avon with action-packed Family Day, special events and product offerings in May and June

EAST HARTFORD, CT (May 13, 2019) — American Eagle Financial Credit Union, Connecticut’s largest community-focused credit union, will host a special Family Day Celebration on Saturday, May 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with face painting, balloon art, cupcakes from the Cupcake Bug, a tour of an Avon Police car and appearances by Earnest the Eagle and Mike Kelly from 96.5 TIC-FM. All activities take place at American Eagle’s Avon branch in Avon at 427 West Avon Road.

American Eagle’s Family Day continues a month-long celebration of the opening of its first branch in Avon. The celebration includes special product offers and gift card giveaways to local stores and restaurants. American Eagle’s Family Day is free and open to the public.

In addition to the May events, American Eagle’s Avon branch will host an Electronics Recycling Day on Saturday, June 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

American Eagle Avon branch’s Electronics Recycling Day on June 8 will be provided by Take 2, Inc. Acceptable items include unlimited computers, monitors, printers, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, copiers, fax machines, scanners, video game machines, iPods, PDAs, modems, keyboards, computer mice, stereo equipment, telephones, cellphones, cameras, tablets and e-books, microwaves, and other small appliances. Please do not bring batteries, ballasts, smoke detectors, freon-containing devices (such as air conditioners, refrigerators, dehumidifiers) and hazardous materials (such as lighter fluid, liquids, paint).

The Avon branch office is designed in a modern, member-friendly, open floor setting with approximately 2,500 square feet of main floor space, plus a drive-up transaction window and drive-up ATM. In addition, the branch will offer a free coin counting machine for members.
