American Eagle Financial Credit Union to support safe graduation nights at 21 high schools throughout central Connecticut

EAST HARTFORD, CT (June 12, 2019) — American Eagle Financial Credit Union, Connecticut’s largest community-focused credit union, today announced it is making a donation to high schools in its service area to help support safe graduation events in each of these communities.

American Eagle will donate $250 to each of 21 high schools in Hartford, Tolland, Middlesex and New Haven counties in its Class of 2019 Safe Graduation Program for a total contribution of $5,250.

“High school graduations are very special and important events, and American Eagle wants to help honor the students involved in their once-in-a-lifetime occasion by supporting the safe post-graduation celebratory activities in their communities,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Dean Marchessault.

American Eagle is making $250 contributions to Avon High School, Bloomfield High School, Conard High School, Cromwell High School, East Hartford High School, Connecticut IB Academy, East Catholic High School, Enfield High School, Farmington High School and Glastonbury High School.

Also receiving $250 donations from American Eagle are Hall High School, Manchester High School, Mercy High School, Middletown High School, Newington High School, North Haven High School, Plainville High School, Rockville High School, South Windsor High School, Southington High School and Xavier High School.

In addition to its donations to the Safe Graduation Program, American Eagle will deposit $25 to any graduating high school or college student’s savings account at the Credit Union.  To qualify, the graduate must bring a copy of their diploma to any American Eagle branch within six months of graduation and already have or open an American Eagle Hassle-Free Checking Account.
