American Heritage Credit Union and BIG 98.1’s 19th Annual Car Show and Member Appreciation Day raises $25,000
Event Raises $25,000 for Pediatric Health Services; Included Craft Show, Family Fun Zone, & BIG 98.1 Live Broadcast
PHILADELPHIA, PA (May 15, 2023) — American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) and BIG 98.1 recently hosted the 19th Annual Car Show and Member Appreciation Day. Over 250 cars and more than 7,000 attendees came out to support the event, which raised $25,000 for the Kids-N-Hope Foundation (The Foundation).
The 19th Annual Car Show and Member Appreciation Day featured hundreds of classic, muscle, and modern show cars. Trophies were awarded to the top cars in the following categories: Antique, Modern, Muscle, Street, Stock, Modified, Imports, and Exotics. Attendees enjoyed the 40-vendor craft show, visited the petting zoo, and enjoyed BIG 98.1’s live broadcast.
All proceeds from the event support the Foundation and its mission to enhance the lives of pediatric patients through health and life services, specifically music therapy. Since its inception over 25 years ago, the Foundation has donated over $3.1 million to these programs through local-area hospitals, including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and other not-for-profit organizations within the American Heritage Credit Union workplace partnership program.

In addition, we are able to bring awareness to the Kids-N-Hope Foundation’s mission to positively impact child life services and provide creative outlets like music therapy to children undergoing medical treatment.”

About the Kids-N-Hope Foundation
The Kids-N-Hope Foundation (“The Foundation”) was founded by American Heritage Credit Union in 1996, and provides support for child life services, including the Music Therapy Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (“CHOP”) and other local hospitals within American Heritage Credit Union’s Workplace Partner Program. To date, the Foundation contributed more than $3.1 million dollars to these local pediatric healthcare programs through its fundraising efforts.
