American Heritage Credit Union challenges Minneapolis and Boston area credit unions for bragging rights
PHILADELPHIA, PA (January 29, 2018) — On Friday, January 19, American Heritage Credit Union challenged Wings Financial Credit Union of Apple Valley, Minnesota to a little fun due to the past NFC Championship game. Wings Financial posted their Vikings“SKOL” Chant on their Facebook page, so American Heritage decided to let them know how much our team supports the Philadelphia Eagles with their fight song on our Facebook page.
Bruce Foulke, American Heritage President/CEO, made a friendly bet with Frank Widner, Wings Financial President/CEO. The deal was if the Minnesota Vikings won, American Heritage would send Wings Financial a case of TastyKates. If the Eagles won, Wings Financial would send American Heritage Minneapolis’ very own Abdallah Candies.
As a result of the NFC championship game, the Philadelphia Eagles were named NFC Champions, and American Heritage will soon receive the Abdallah Candies.
With the upcoming Super Bowl approaching featuring Philadelphia’s own Eagles and the New England Patriots, Foulke reached out to James Regan, President/CEO of Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU), located in Marlborough, MA. The new deal is if the Patriots win, American Heritage would send DCU a case of TastyKates, and if the Eagles win, DCU will send American Heritage a case of New England Clam Chowder.
In addition to the friendly bet, the two CEO’s also made a personal wager. The losing credit union’s CEO will make a personal $500 donation to either American Heritage’s Kids-N-Hope Foundation, or DCU’s DCU for Kids Foundation.
