America’s Christian Credit Union CEO inducted into Adoption Hall Of Fame in Washington D.C.
GLENDORA, CA (October 27, 2015) — The National Council for Adoption (NCFA) has selected President/CEO of America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU), Mendell L. Thompson, to be inducted into their Adoption Hall of Fame for his tireless advocacy in defending the cause of children seeking an adoptive home. The National Council for Adoption will honor Mr. Thompson at the “Great Expectations – A Celebration of Adoption” gala ceremony on November 5, 2015, in Washington, DC.
Mr. Thompson is being honored for his visionary leadership in spearheading the adoption program at America’s Christian Credit Union. Since 2009, ACCU has helped over 1,300 children find “forever families” through their award-winning Adoption Loan Program. In response to the news of receiving this award, Thompson remarked, “This is such an amazing honor! We are so blessed by what God is doing in the lives of these children and families.
