America’s Credit Union Museum announces new board members and officers

MANCHESTER, NH (October 3, 2023)America’s Credit Union Museum, a cornerstone of the credit union movement, is  pleased to announce the appointment of new officers and the addition of two esteemed individuals to the museum’s board of  directors. 

The election of new officers to key leadership roles marks an important milestone for America’s Credit Union Museum, as they elect  their first female board chair. “Today is a historic moment as we proudly announce our first female board chair,” said Stephanie  Smith, Executive Director of America’s Credit Union Museum. “This is not just a milestone for our museum; it’s a testament to the  incredible talents and capabilities of women in leadership roles.” 

The following individuals have been elected to leadership positions: 

Chair: Kristi Arrington, League of Southeastern Credit Unions 

Vice-Chair: Marina Miller, SchoolsFirst Credit Union 

Treasurer: Ron McLean, Cooperative Credit Union Association 

Secretary: Merry Pateuk, PSCU 

These accomplished individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles, and they are committed to  guiding America’s Credit Union Museum toward a successful future. 

In addition to the appointment of officers, the museum is proud to welcome two distinguished individuals to its board of directors: Bruce Adams, Credit Union League of Connecticut 

Jeff Olson, Dakota Credit Union Association 

The addition of these new board members enriches the leadership team of the museum and brings fresh perspectives to the  organization’s governance. “We are excited to announce our new officers and board members,” said Smith. “Their dedication to the  credit union movement and commitment to our mission will undoubtedly strengthen our organization as we continue to educate  and inspire future generations.”
