AmFirst announces the retirement of its long-time General Counsel, Alan Stabler
AmFirst announces the retirement of its long-time general counsel, Alan Stabler, effective March 31, 2024. Stabler joined AmFirst in 1982 as a collection counselor and has served in various capacities becoming general counsel in 1993 and most recently served as Executive Vice President-Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel.
During his career, Stabler served on several state and national committees for legal, legislative and regulatory matters and is the author and contributing author to several credit union books, publications and articles for national credit union trade associations. In retirement, Stabler plans to travel extensively with his wife, and pursue his interest in photography.
