Amir Wain named Silver STEVIE® Award winner in The 2026 American Business Awards®

REDWOOD CITY, CA (July 10, 2026) |

i2c Inc., a global financial technology innovator, today announced that i2c Founder and CEO Amir Wain has been named a Silver Stevie® Award winner in the AI Leader of the Year category at The 24th Annual American Business Awards®.

The AI Leader of the Year distinction recognizes executives who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing applied AI within financial services. Wain’s architectural foresight and disciplined execution have defined i2c’s approach since its founding more than 25 years ago. He built the platform on a single global technology stack designed to be configurable, modular, and scalable, eliminating the integration bottlenecks and data silos that typically constrain AI performance. Grounded in that foundation, Amir embedded artificial intelligence directly into i2c’s platform architecture, enabling real-time intelligence across credit, debit, and prepaid issuer processing; core banking; and money movement programs in more than 216 countries and territories.

“The Stevie Award recognition is a testament to Amir’s extraordinary foresight and unwavering commitment to redefining financial technology,” said Candace Davies, CMO of i2c. “More than a decade before the industry began talking about AI integration, Amir was already architecting a platform designed for an intelligent future. He didn’t just anticipate the role AI would one day play—he built the technological and organizational foundation required to make it real. Today, that early conviction is powering real‑time intelligence for institutions around the world, and it continues to inspire how we innovate as a company.”

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 9.

“Organizations across the United States continue to set a high standard for innovation and performance,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Miller. “The breadth and quality of nominations submitted to The 2026 American Business Awards reflect a dynamic and competitive business environment, where organizations are finding new ways to drive growth, deliver value, and make an impact. We congratulate all of this year’s Stevie Award winners and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at our June 9 awards ceremony in New York.”

More than 3,700 nominations from individuals and organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Thought Leader of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.
