SalesCU is pleased to announce the successful completion of SalesCU’s Advanced Sales Skills Workshop with Amplify Credit Union, held November 4–6, 2025, in a hybrid format that included both in-person and remote participants. The workshop was led by Nick Brown, President and CEO of SalesCU.
With more than 50 participants, this hybrid training experience took place onsite at Amplify’s training facility while additional employees joined live via Microsoft Teams. To maximize real-world application, the workshop was heavily customized to Amplify’s specific product suite, with a special emphasis on strengthening business relationships and promoting key business products—including the Business High-Yield Savings Account and other business services.
Participants responded enthusiastically to the tools and techniques provided. Many shared that the sales process felt “easy to understand and follow” and expressed excitement about using the new approach to identify external savings balances held at other institutions. The loan recapture calculator was a standout favorite, and staff felt confident they would now conduct member interviews with greater clarity and effectiveness.
As a result of the workshop, Amplify Credit Union identified several key areas of focus moving forward:
- Enhancing deposit recapture efforts, particularly for business savings and related products
- Increasing sales and education of Assurance Products
- Addressing account closures through more engaging and relationship-focused member interactions
