Andrea Johnson Earns SPHR® Certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute

Newburgh, IN — Heritage Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Andrea Johnson, Human Resource Specialist, SPHR, has earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
An individual must first demonstrate necessary professional experience in the HR field to be eligible for the SPHR exam. Ms. Johnson currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Evansville and has worked in the HR field for 14 years. Earning the SPHR designation means that Ms. Johnson successfully passed a knowledge-based examination and possesses the required industry-related experience. There are currently only 1,058 SPHR’s in the state of Indiana.
The SPHR certification recognizes HR professionals who have knowledge across all HR disciplines, design and plan HR policy, and understand the business beyond the HR function and influence the overall organization.
