Andrews Federal Credit Union makes donation to purchase school uniforms
SUITLAND, MD (August 24, 2016) — Andrews Federal Credit Union recently donated $1,000 to purchase school uniforms for children in need at Anita J. Turner Elementary School in Washington, DC.
Turner is located in a challenging neighborhood in the Congress Heights section of the nation’s capital. Ninety- nine percent of its students qualify for free and reduced- price lunch.
“We take extreme pride in supporting our community,” said Jasmine Lyle, Henson Ridge Branch Manager. “We love to see each student start their year off looking great, and with great confidence.”
