SUITLAND, MD (June 14, 2021) — Andrews Federal Credit Union is the 2020 Army Credit Union of the Year. This award comes directly from the Department of the Army, U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Benelux. Andrews Federal won based on their superior commitment to the Benelux community during an unprecedented year.
Throughout the global health pandemic, the Andrews Federal staff utilized creativity and careful consideration to continue offering high-quality service to its members despite facing massive challenges. The Credit Union successfully kept all locations within the Benelux community open and operating during regular business hours and beyond.
Andrews Federal is on a mission to build a community of trust. Throughout 2020, the Credit Union pivoted its business operations to support the men and women of USAG Benelux during incredibly challenging times. Andrews Federal offered loan payment deferrals, special hours of operation, increased ATM limits, and more to aid their members. The Credit Union continues to nurture its community of trust with low-cost loan options and high-yield savings accounts.
