Aneca Credit Union opens new Shreveport Branch location

SHREVEPORT , LOUISIANA (August 3, 2023) — Two months after opening a new Bossier branch location, ANECA Federal Credit Union cut the ribbon on another new branch, this time in Shreveport located at 9513 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71118.

“It has been a busy several preparing to open two new branch locations just a couple months apart, but we could not be more excited to be able to now offer our members 4 physical locations to do business with us!” explains David Wodke, Chief Executive Officer of ANECA. “With Bossier Chamber Diplomats, Southern Hills Business Association Members, our Credit Union Board of Directors and Management team in attendance, we celebrated with Credit Union Members and locals around the Mansfield area.” Wodke continues, “As with our other locations, this new facility offers local businesses and residences the opportunity to conveniently bank with us in-person through our lobby, drive-thru and Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).”

Joining in the celebration of approximately 250 in attendance, locally owned establishments No Teeth BBQ was cooking burgers, StreetCar Snowballs gave out snowballs, Everything Bundt Cakes offered bundtinis cupcakes, and Magic 102.9FM had a live radio remote. Attendees also enjoyed cash prizes up to $300, fun promotional items and games.

“I’m thrilled to be able to play a role in helping our Credit Union serve more of our members and community by way of this new branch location,” explained the new location’s Branch Manager, Corey Lee. “Seeing everyone’s smiling faces and feeling the warm welcome we have received, I know this location will quickly become a staple for those in the area to conduct their banking with a trusted, local provider.”
