Anna-Marie Cimarra has joined Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union (SLFCU) as manager of its Downtown Livermore Branch.
Cimarra has 14 years of financial experience and earned a certification as Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) from TruStage (formerly CUNA Mutual Group), a financial services provider to credit unions.
In her new position, Cimarra is responsible for the administration and daily operations of the branch, including member service, employee management and development, risk management, business development, and facility management.
A native of Castro Valley, California, Cimarra has experience as an assistant branch manager with a San Francisco Bay Area bank, assistant manager for a California credit union with branches in Castro Valley, Fremont, and Pleasanton, and lead teller positions for a community bank and a large national bank.
Cimarra’s goals in her new position include expanding SLFCU’s involvement in the Tri-Valley community and strengthening relationships with the Credit Union’s new and existing employer partner groups. “With our mix of products and services such as flexible, high-interest savings options and low-interest auto loans and mortgages, we can help our members get ahead in today’s challenging economy. I am excited to move our branch to the next level and am very grateful to my talented, experienced, and responsive staff,” she said.

SLFCU’s Livermore Downtown Branch is located at 39 South Livermore Ave., Suite 101. Its lobby is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
