Annual Shine Bright Bash shines a light on pediatric cancer and blood disorder program

Affinity Plus to donate up to $15,000 to Children’s Hospital and Clinics of MN for #ShineBrightBash posts

ST PAUL, MN (September 4, 2015) — Affinity Plus is proud to be the social media sponsor of the September 12 Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota Shine Bright Bash. In its second year, the Shine Bright Bash annual gala raises money for the Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Children’s, one of the nation’s top programs for pediatric cancer and blood disorder care.

This year’s bash will take place at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley, MN. As the social media sponsor, Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union is donating $5, up to $15,000, for every public tweet, Instagram, or Facebook post that uses the hashtag #ShineBrightBash between now and September 13. Retweets, shares, and re-grams will count toward the total, as well.

“Children’s goes above and beyond in the care they provide to patients and their families, which is very much aligned with the way we do business,” reflects Affinity Plus President and CEO, Dave Larson. “We’re excited to be the social media sponsor of this year’s Shine Bright Bash, and we know that as the event grows, we’ll be able to continue to partner with Children’s to help families in their times of need.”
