APCU | Center Parc breaks ground on new, state-of-the-art headquarters

ATLANTA, GA (June 1, 2023) — On Tuesday, May 16, leaders from Atlanta Postal Credit Union (APCU) gathered to break ground on its new 100,000-square-foot headquarters, located on a 10.5-acre site at 400 Porsche Ave., Hapeville, GA, 30354 in south Atlanta near the intersection of I-75 and Highway 41. The new, state-of-the-art facility will provide much-needed space for the growing credit union and help foster a seamless and convenient banking experience for the credit union’s more than 100,000 members. Center Parc Credit Union, the new community-based division of APCU, is a prime example of how APCU fosters growth as the largest postal affiliated credit union in the country.

The facility’s planned design features contemporary touches and member-centric spaces to facilitate a range of convenient services, as well as advanced technology to help the credit union meet the diverse needs of its members. The full-service branch will offer extended hours, dedicated spaces for financial consultations, state-of-the-art ATMs, and advanced digital banking capabilities. The headquarters also will incorporate enhanced security technology to ensure the utmost protection for members’ financial transactions and data.

In keeping with the credit union’s commitment to employee development and work culture, the Atlanta Postal Credit Union headquarters design also features a dedicated training center and recreation areas and room for additions to accommodate further growth.

“This groundbreaking is significant for many reasons, not just for what it means for our future, but also for how it celebrates our history and our commitment to our community,” Chuck Head, former APCU CEO, said. “It is our mission to help our members achieve financial success by providing exceptional products and service; it is our passion to nurture professional and personal development in our employees; and it is our honor to give back to and strengthen the communities we serve,” he added.

For the current CEO of APCU, Blake Graham, the occasion represented a milestone in its commitment to deliver exceptional service. “It is more than a symbol of our commitment to innovation and progress,” he said. “It is a beacon of our commitment to forging meaningful connections within our community and fostering financial well-being for our members.”
