APGFCU’s Sharon Hudler Earns ACH Accreditation

(Aberdeen, February 25, 2011)— Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union, [APGFCU], is pleased to announce that Sharon Hudler, director of support services, recently passed an examination to become an Accredited Automated Clearing House [ACH] Professional  [AAP] through the National Automated Clearing House Association [NACHA], the Electronic Payments Association.

The AAP certification affirms professional competence and subject area expertise for practitioners of Automated Clearing House payments, establishing a professional standard based on best practices and recognized processes and procedures developed by NACHA and the Regional Payments Associations.

With this accreditation, Ms. Hudler is one of only 4,000 highly-skilled professionals nationwide recognized as electronic payment experts. Her expertise will be valuable to APG Federal Credit Union in managing risk associated with the electronic payment system, improving operating efficiencies and ensuring member satisfaction.  APG Federal Credit Union processes more than 250,000 ACH transactions a month including direct deposit payrolls.

Ms. Hudler earned the AAP designation by successfully completing an intensive study program and an examination.  She is also a graduate of the three-year Maryland Banking School of the American Bankers Association and she holds a banking certification from Harford Community College.
