Ardent Credit Union elects Sam Kachidza, local real estate and finance expert, to Board of Directors

Mr. Kachidza brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to the board and currently oversees Pennsylvania store expansion for Lidl US, LLC

Today, Philadelphia-based Ardent Credit Union announced the election of local business leader Sam Kachidza to the credit union’s Board of Directors. The Board is proud to welcome Mr. Kachidza as its newest member. He is Director of Real Estate at Lidl US, LLC.

This announcement comes as Ardent continues to expand its reach and offerings, including eight locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and new concierge services designed to help members easily navigate some of life’s most important financial decisions.

Kachidza brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in real estate, finance and accounting to the board. In his current role with international grocery chain Lidl, he is responsible for the company’s expansion strategy in Pennsylvania and oversees a team of real estate and construction managers.

“I look forward to serving alongside other Board members as Ardent enters a new exciting phase of growth,” said Kachidza. “In an increasingly competitive world dominated by mega-sized banks, it’s refreshing and necessary to have Ardent, a credit union that is driven to innovate and provide quality financial products that first and foremost serve the needs of members.”

Mr. Kachidza has a diverse background, previously holding positions of increasing responsibility with Deloitte, ING Americas and Robert Charles Lesser & Company. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Clark Atlanta University and his MBA from the Gouizueta Business School at Emory University. While receiving his MBA, he was selected as a fellow for the Gouizueta Leadership Academy and was awarded the SmithKline Beecham MBA International Scholar Award.
