Ardent Credit Union’s Chief People Officer, Mary Hoffman, has been named to the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Philadelphia Credit Union Association’s (PCUA) Board of Directors

Recently, Ardent Credit Union’s Chief People Officer, Mary Hoffman, was named to the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Philadelphia Credit Union Association’s (PCUA) Board of Directors. In this role, Ms. Hoffman will focus on supporting advocacy efforts, education and charitable initiatives on behalf of credit unions in Delaware County.

Ms. Hoffman’s career spans over 30 years, serving in various human resources capacities throughout. As Ardent Credit Union’s Chief People Officer, Ms. Hoffman oversees day-to-day operations related to employment, employee retention, personnel policies, benefits, compensation, payroll, organizational development and compliance. In 2017, Ms. Hoffman was recognized by SmartCEO with an Executive Management Award for exemplary leadership.

“I’m honored to join the PCUA Delaware Valley Chapter Board of Directors,” said Ms. Hoffman. “The organization has a long-standing history of advocating for credit unions throughout the region and giving back to the community, and I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together.”

In addition to her work with Ardent Credit Union, Ms. Hoffman worked for The Glenmede Trust Company for 13 years in various HR positions. She also served as a Benefits Administrator at The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia for 7 years. Ms. Hoffman is a graduate of both East Stroudsburg University and Holy Family University, where she received her MBA. She also holds a SPHR designation from HRCI, a Human Resources certifying entity, as well as a SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
