Arizona Central Credit Union raises $60,000 for families fighting cancer

PHOENIX, AZ (December 11, 2013) --  Arizona Central Credit Union raised $60,000 to benefit theCancer Support Community of Arizona (CSC-AZ), formerly known as the Wellness Community.  Reinforcing CSC’s mission to support cancer patients and their families, more than 140 golfers hit the links at Arrowhead Country Club, in Glendale, on Monday, November 25th.

Todd Pearson, Arizona Central Credit Union President and CEO said “We all know of someone who has been or is currently struggling to overcome cancer.  It’s tough on them and equally hard on their loved ones.  That’s why we’re so pleased to be able to help this deserving organization fulfill their mission of ensuring no one has to face the disease alone.

Pearson continued. “It is important to our organization to host an annual event that will benefit our community. We're honored to join forces with other local and national credit unions to strengthen the tradition of giving back to our communities.
