Arlington Community Federal Credit Union announces scholarship
ARLINGTON, VA (June 30, 2016) — Arlington Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU) announces that Brook Yimer of Wakefield High School has received a $1,000 scholarship that ACFCU funded through the 2016 Arlington Community Foundation Scholarship program. Yimer will attend Washington College in the fall. The credit union also participated in the 2016 Scholarship Community Review Panel in an effort to support education in our community.
The Arlington Community Foundation provided scholarships valued at more than $470,000 in 2016 to 78 students entering college and an additional 105 students receiving renewals of previously awarded scholarships.
