Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union Holds Ribbon Cutting at Operations Center in Daleville

Daleville, Ala. (September 12, 2012) — Army Aviation Center Federal Credit Union (AACFCU) celebrated the opening of its newly built Operations Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 22, 2012. Attendees included Daleville Chamber of Commerce members, AACFCU Board of Directors, management and staff along with executives from NewGround, the company responsible for the building project.

During the ceremony, NewGround donated $1,000 to the Daleville Chamber of Commerce and $1,000 to the 1/223 Fort Rucker Family Readiness Group in honor of AACFCU.

The Operations Center was under construction for approximately 18 months while the construction process helped over 42 local companies and provided jobs for local employees. The new Operations Center is now home to all of AACFCU’s corporate operations including management, human resources, marketing, information systems, collections and compliance, accounting, ATM/EFT, call center, lending, member care and digital records departments. These departments were originally spread across the Daleville, Dothan and Enterprise areas due to lack of space in the original corporate office on Daleville Avenue in Daleville.
