SAN BERNANDINO, CA (June 21, 2016) — As hundreds of Marines made their way through Bob Hope USO Ontario they were greeted with words of appreciation, a lot of encouragement and a bag of snacks to enjoy on their trip. The team at Arrowhead Credit Union gathered more than 7,500 snacks and beverages to hand out to deploying service men and women.
“The support Arrowhead is providing the troops is truly amazing,” said Kristen Ramirez, Center Manager, Bob Hope USO Ontario, “Our facility serves more than 30,000 service men and women annually and we rely solely on donations to care for these brave heroes.”
“This was my first time volunteering with the USO,” said Ana Miller, Arrowhead team member. “My eyes were definitely opened to all they do for our military. What an amazing organization.”
The Bob Hope USO Ontario offers a welcoming place to come between journeys, and offers services such as meals, a place to rest, media and family rooms, all free to military members and families.
