ASI Federal Credit Union has changed its name to OnPath Federal Credit Union. The redesign includes a new name and logo that signifies the organization’s strategy to financially empower the community and provide (as its tagline suggests): Banking with direction.
As Joey Richard, CEO of OnPath Federal Credit Union explains, “credit unions have changed dramatically over the years and it is necessary for us to evolve to better meet the needs of our membership and expanding footprint. To grow and provide our members with better service, products and opportunities, we redesigned our brand to be more inclusive of our mission, vision and the needs of our growing population.”
ASI Federal Credit Union was charted in 1961 by the employees of Avondale Shipyard, Inc. Since then the credit union has extended its membership to over 64,000 individuals and financial products and services across Southeast Louisiana and beyond.

The credit union’s name and logo are new, but members will see the same great people and receive the exceptional service they are used to. OnPath Federal Credit Union has redesigned its website and will soon update it mobile banking system to create a more convenient platform to match its members’ everyday banking needs.
