Associated Credit Union Will Participate in Bank Transfer Day

NORCROSS, Ga.-   Associated Credit Union will be participating in Bank Transfer Day on Saturday, November 5. BTD is a national effort urging bank customers to switch their accounts over to a credit union.

The campaign started with a Facebook page created by an upset bank customer and now nearly 60,000 people have signed up for the event. Bank Transfer Day has no affiliation with Occupy Wall Street.

Anyone can join Associated CU by applying online or visiting one of its 26 branches. Associated CU also has a Switch Agent service which helps new members transfer automatic debits from their current bank to Associated CU. Associated CU has no monthly fees for debit cards and members are eligible for cash back Purchase Rewards as well as ScoreCard and ScoreMore Rewards points.

The five branches open on Saturdays are Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ellenwood, Buford Drive, North Druid Hills and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
