Atlantic Financial FCU’s CEO recognized in Baltimore Business Journal’s “40 Under 40”

HUNT VALLEY, MD (November 27, 2013) -- Matthew Piazza, President and CEO of Atlantic Financial Federal Credit was named to the Baltimore Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list.

For the first time since 2007, BBJ unveiled its list, which includes 40 people to watch, who are making significant contributions and achievements within their companies and in the Baltimore community prior to turning 40.

Earlier this year, Piazza, 30, was promoted from Chief Financial Officer to the credit union’s President/CEO, which he told BBJ was his big break. Since AFFCU’s existence, he is the youngest CEO to hold the top spot.

“It’s been an amazing year and I’m extremely honored to be included among this group of talented professionals impacting our community,” said Piazza.

Piazza and his fellow “40 Under 40” class will be honored on December 5, 2013 at Rams Head Center Stage at the Maryland Live Casino.
