The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) is pleased to congratulate three recent graduates of the ATMIA Academy.
- Edgar Cruz, a software engineer with ESQ Business Services, Inc.
- Jessica Bartley, a ATM maintenance technician with DuPont Community Credit Union
- Kathy Nolte, automated delivery systems coordinator at Virginia Credit Union
They have all successfully completed the Academy’s International ATM Operators training and are now certified.
“We’re very proud to congratulate Edgar, Jessica and Kathy on their certification as international ATM operators,” said Mike Lee, CEO of ATMIA. “Their respective companies can rest assured they have received the very best training on ATM operating procedures, based on extensive research and best practices from around the world, that will allow them to bring efficiency and expertise to their positions.”
To gain international ATM operator certification, Cruz, Bartley and Nolte completed five courses that included comprehensive ATM operator responsibilities in custom service, cash management, ATM balancing and settlement, ATM operations and resolving the most common issues related to balancing.
“Our recent graduates have shown the value of online, digital training today, which, while being affordable and flexible, provides highly specialized, job-specific education from the desktop, at a pace which best suits each trainee,” said Lee. “Whether an industry executive works for an independent ATM deployer, a financial institution or a vendor, there is a course at the ATMIA Academy which will push forward their careers in the industry.”
The ATMIA Academy offers three training tracks: ATM Operators Training and Certification, ATM Security Training and ATM Value-Added Services Training.
The ATM security training courses educate employees on the importance of security, the most common security threats and best practices used to mitigate risk. The added-value ATM services training explores the additional capabilities of the ATM beyond the core transactions it has handled historically such as the role of the ATM in an omni-channel strategy, relationship management, day-to-day frontline transaction capabilities, promotional and sales features and brand representation.
Courses start at just $50 each and bundled packages can be purchased by employers at a discounted rate. To learn more about the ATMIA Academy, visit https://www.atmia.com/
