Aventa executives take a pie to the face in support of the American Heart Association

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (August 13, 2015) — On July 22, 2015, eight Aventa executives took a pie to the face in support of the Colorado Springs Heart Walk benefiting the American Heart Association. Aventa Credit Union raised $2,500 from the pies, Heart Walk torches and other fundraisers.

This is the fifth straight year Aventa Credit Union associates have participated and raised money for the American Heart Association. “Due to the fun nature of the pie throwing and the willingness of our executives to take part in this fundraiser, we helped raise a record-setting $2,500 for the American Heart Association. We are proud to take part in this yearly event and are thrilled with the support given by Aventa’s staff and its members,” said Deb Brown, AventaCares committee member and Heart Walk team captain.
