During October, Baton Rouge Telco FCU held their annual United Way fundraising campaign where a total of $19,608.08 was raised. Telco’s Baton Rouge area branches raised $17,281.24 for the Capital Area United Way, and Telco’s Hammond location raised $2,326.84 which will benefit the United Way of Southeast Louisiana. The credit union is also pleased to announce that since 2005, Baton Rouge Telco has raised more than $200,000 to directly benefit the United Way in our communities.
Baton Rouge Telco employees donated through payroll pledges in either one-time or regular donations throughout the coming year. Additionally, branch locations held bake sales and even a nacho sale to help raise funds during the campaign.
