The Battle Creek Chapter of Credit Unions donates $1500 to Talons Out Honor Flight
BATTLE CREEK, MI (February 9, 2017) — The Battle Creek Chapter of Credit Unions recently hosted an evening event to recognize and honor local non-profit organizations that have made a positive impact in our community. Talons Out Honor Flight was one of the organizations honored that evening. They were presented with a donation of $1500 by chapter members to use towards helping veterans in Southwest Michigan fly to Washington D.C. to visit the WW ll Memorial.
“Talons Out Honor Flight is successful due to the generous support of our community,” stated Dan Moyle, Vice President of Talons Out Honor Flight. “We couldn’t do what we do, honoring our Greatest Generation, without partners like the Battle Creek Chapter of Credit Unions. Because of this donation, we’re sending three local veterans on their Honor Flight. Thank you for the support!”
The Battle Creek Chapter of Credit Unions is pleased they are able to offer grants to organizations to help members in their communities as they have done in previous years, and will continue to do so for years to come.

Talons Out Honor Flight is the Southwest Michigan hub for the national Honor Flight Network. Talons Out Honor Flight flies World War II Veterans in and around Southwest Michigan to Washington, D.C.
