BDI perfects e-statements for mobile users

Patent-pending technology adapts to any device

INGLEWOOD, CA (June 4, 2020) — Credit unions continue to devote considerable resources to satisfying the needs of the mobile member. The one area where most fall short is e-statements. Virtually all e-statement vendors generate statement PDFs. The problem is that trying to view a dense PDF on, say, a cell phone can be complicated at best until now.

Using patent-pending technology, Business Data Inc. (BDI) announced today from the Q2 CONNECT 20 virtual user conference the credit union industry’s first fully responsive e-statement platform. The days of pinching, zooming, and moving around the document to view on a small device is over. If the member wants to download a traditional PDF statement, they can. However, the information on the statement is dynamically presented in a format that scales to any device. It doesn’t just display larger or smaller; the document’s headers, buttons, marketing, and transactional data fully recompose for a true mobile presentation and user experience.

“While other statement vendors continue to be distracted by mergers and acquisitions, BDI can stay focused on innovation,” said BDI CEO Paul Holtzman. “We’ve been combining better products with better service for 36 years. We’re proud to be a true industry leader.”
