WOODBRIDGE, VA (June 19, 2014) -- Belvoir Federal Credit Union internally promotes two employees and hires a new individual to serve as Branch Managers.
The current Assistant Branch Manager at the Fort Belvoir Branch, Deborah Strom, will now serve as the Mark Center Branch Manager. With over 15 years’ experience in member service, banking, and management, Deborah offers Belvoir Federal members the expertise and knowledge to maximize their savings and earning potential.
“I look forward to increasing membership at our Mark Center branch with Belvoir Federal’s competitive rates and outstanding checking account options. Fondu Conteh, Mark Center’s current Branch Manager, will now serve as the Branch Manager for the Fort Belvoir and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) branches. With a Master’s degree in Accounting and nearly ten years in the financial industry, Fondu hopes to invigorate these branches with accountability and a driving passion that will increase member relationships.
Fondu states, “I am excited about this opportunity to expand my skillset and make a difference for our members. Belvoir Federal welcomes Bernard Lamptey as the Woodbridge Branch Manager. In addition to eleven years’ in the financial world, Bernard brings with him applied experience, ranging from a frontline teller to a branch manager. The leadership and management style Bernard exudes will lay the foundation for an effective work environment for the employees and members.
