Bernie Isabelle, Vermont Federal Credit Union’s President and CEO, announces retirement

BURLINGTON, VT (November 7, 2016) — Bernie Isabelle, Vermont Federal Credit Union’s President & CEO since October, 2008, has announced his retirement effective November 1, 2016.

Isabelle noted that he and his wife really appreciated and will miss the friendships that they have developed in their years at the Credit Union with the employees, the Board of Directors, and the Supervisory Committee. Isabelle stated, “They are an awesome group of individuals and I consider it an honor to have worked with all of them in growing the Credit Union and fulfilling our mission to our members.”  He is looking forward to spending more time with his family and friends, on his hobbies and in volunteering.

The Board thanks Isabelle for his many years of service and wishes him well in his retirement.  Jean Giard will continue to serve as Interim CEO.
