Best Credit Union awarded to Raiz Federal Credit Union 2025 Gold Winner – The City Magazine

El Paso, TX (January 9, 2026) |

Raiz Federal Credit Union has once again set the gold standard in financial services, earning the title of “Best Credit Union” in The City Magazine’s 2025 Best of The City Awards—for an extraordinary third year in a row.

This coveted recognition, determined entirely by the votes of El Paso’s residents, highlights the region’s most influential and innovative organizations. Achieving gold for the third consecutive year is more than an honor—it’s a testament to Raiz’s unwavering dedication to service, innovation, and empowering the community’s financial success.

“At Raiz, we put people first—always,” said Max Villaronga, President and CEO of Raiz Federal Credit Union. “Our vision is rooted in elevating our members’ lives by anticipating their needs and delivering innovative solutions that help them rise to every opportunity. Every day, we strive to impact, uplift, and empower our members to reach success.”

Raiz also celebrates Mammoth Rock Investments, a vertical of Mammoth Rock Capital (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raiz Federal Credit Union), for being recognized as the Silver Medal Winner for Best Financial Advisors in El Paso. We are equally proud to share that our community partner, The Underserved Communities Foundation, earned the Bronze Medal for Best Nonprofit/Charity in El Paso. These recognitions underscore the power of partnership and community in guiding El Pasoans toward a brighter financial future.

All three organizations will be celebrated at the 2025 Best of the City Awards celebration on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the El Paso County Coliseum. For more on Raiz Federal Credit Union and its award-winning services, visit www.raiz.us.
