Best Innovation Group and Mahalo join together to extend the power of voice to more credit unions

Mahalo’s partner credit unions say “Aloha” to BIG’s FIVE Voice Banking platform

TAMPA, FL (September 10, 2019) — Best Innovation Group (BIG) is pleased to announce that Mahalo Banking will begin offering BIG’s FIVE Conversational Banking platform to its digital banking clients. Mahalo will work with its partner credit unions and BIG for implementation of the transactional voice banking solution, which currently supports voice applications for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Initially we’ll deploy for Amazon Alexa and Google Home, but we’re also working with Samsung and expect to expand our voice-first banking platform for their Bixby-enabled devices early next year,” says Elizabeth Robins, BIG’s Product Director. BIG was recently granted access to Samsung’s Premier Developer Program enabling FIVE’s expansion to the Bixby Marketplace.

“The FIVE platform provides a single content repository that supplies data to all supported voice applications, as well as extending connectivity for future integrations to vendors that provide personal financial management, bill pay, person-to-person payments and other services that members will access through voice interaction”adds Robins. “FIVE’s platform is extensible, which means as the voice industry expands and more voice services (like Bixby) join the ecosystem, BIG will be able to easily add new applications to support members with very little effort by the credit union.”

BIG will leverage APIs provided by Mahalo that enable members to perform transfers between shares and loans, get balances and account details, as well receive answers to dozens of informational questions about their credit union.
