Blood Drives to Be Located at People’s Credit Union Branches Throughout November

(Middletown, RI): The Rhode Island Blood Center will hold four blood drives at People’s Credit Union branches throughout the month of November. 

The Rhode Island Blood Center is a non-profit community blood center and is the only source of blood and blood products for the hospitals’ of Rhode Island while also serving customers in Massachusetts and Connecticut.  240-280 pints of blood must be collected per day to meet the needs of the community. 

The schedule for blood drives at People’s Credit Union will be on the following days and times:

November 4 at 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: People’s Portsmouth Branch

November 12 at 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: People’s Middletown Branch

November 16 at 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: People’s Bristol Branch

November 18 at 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: People’s Newport Branch

People’s Credit Union serves members through six locations in Bristol, Middletown, Newport, North Kingstown, Portsmouth and Wakefield. 

People’s, a member-owned, state chartered, federally insured, community credit union established in 1922. Membership is open to all individuals. Deposits are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government.
