BloomCU’s credit union website designs win four Diamond Awards
COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, UT (April 15, 2019) — Last month, CUNA Councils announced their prestigious Diamond Awards, which celebrate excellence in credit union marketing. This year, CUNA recognized 11 different websites, 4 of which were designed by agency BloomCU. Over the past two years, sites designed by BloomCU have won 6 out of 16 total awards in the category.
BloomCU-designed winners this year were the websites for NW Preferred, OAS FCU, Hoosier Hills FCU, and Life CU.
Each credit union website design was unique, reflecting the individual brand and membership base. For example, OAS FCU, which is an internationally-minded credit union, included an interactive world map. On the other hand, NW Preferred, which serves both insurance agents and regionally-based members, allowed for separate experiences for its varied audience.
All of the websites incorporated an updated navigation (based on card-sorting), beautiful visuals, and smart technology, which BloomCU specializes in. On each design, software called Persona helps track behavior and preferences to offer a more custom experience, since personalization has been proven to lead to more successful websites.
One of the winners, Life CU, not only won a Diamond Award, but also won the “Best in Show” recognition for the category. Life CU was thrilled with their website’s success and pleased by their partnership with BloomCU.
