Boulder Dam Credit Union welcomes Steele Hendrix as new Chief Executive Officer
BOULDER CITY, NV (October 19, 2023) — Boulder Dam Credit Union, a cornerstone of the Boulder City community, is delighted to announce the appointment of Steele Hendrix as its new Chief Executive Officer. With a stellar reputation and an impressive track record in the financial sector, Steele Hendrix is poised to lead Boulder Dam Credit Union into a future marked by growth and enhanced member services.
Hendrix brings a wealth of experience to his role at Boulder Dam Credit Union. His background includes nearly 30 years of leadership experience in credit unions. Previously, Hendrix held the position of Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, and Senior Vice President of Nevada Operations with Cumorah Credit Union and Credit Union 1.
In addition, Steele Hendrix has demonstrated exceptional leadership during his tenure as EVP of Boulder Dam Credit Union. He spearheaded a comprehensive overhaul of the online presence, ensuring enhanced digital accessibility and member experience. Hendrix also played a pivotal role in the successful implementation of a drive-up ATM, providing members with convenient access to their accounts. Under his guidance, a branch remodel project is underway, creating a modern and inviting space for our valued members. Additionally, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hendrix navigated the credit union adeptly through the uncertainties, ensuring the safety of both members and staff while maintaining uninterrupted services. His expertise was crucial in managing staff transitions and overseeing operational evolution, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow. Furthermore, Hendrix prioritized leadership development, investing in the team’s growth and skills, which has had a profound positive impact on the credit union’s overall performance. His contributions across these areas have been transformative, solidifying Boulder Dam Credit Union’s position as a community-centered financial institution of excellence.

Steele Hendrix holds a Bachelor’s in Business from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a Master’s in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He also completed several integral credit union designations, including Western CUNA Management School and CUES Chief Executive (CCE) designation.
