True to its mission of “changing lives one dream at a time,” BRECO FCU is opening its doors to more potential members in the hopes of providing access to more affordable bank accounts, expanding wealth through financial literacy programs and counseling, and offering a multitude of loan options for those who need it most.
The NCUA recently approved the addition of an underserved area to BRECO FCU’s field of membership, which allows BRECO to offer its services to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school in, and businesses located in parts of Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana Parishes in Louisiana. The underserved area increases BRECO FCU’s potential field of membership by over 400,000 potential members.

BRECO FCU enlisted the help of Allen Carver & Associates (allencarver.com) to assist with the underserved addition. Allen Carver & Associates provides consulting services to help credit unions expand their fields of membership.
