He has called Reno-Tahoe home for more than 25 years and attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where he played baseball before becoming a professional catcher for the Tampa Bay Rays and St. Louis Cardinals for six years.
Cordell has a bachelor’s in business management and an MBA. He enjoys volunteering with various elementary schools, Little League teams, and Toys for Tots.
