BSG Financial Group announces the addition of business development executive Robert Shifflett, Jr.

Company hires accomplished financial industry veteran to help expand its footprint in southeast and mid-Atlantic states

LOUISVILLE, KY (February 1, 2018) — Louisville, Ky.-based BSG Financial Group, a provider of revenue-enhancement programs and compliance solutions for financial institutions nationwide, announced today the addition of Robert (Bob) Shifflett, Jr. as Senior Vice President, Business Development.

Shifflett is an accomplished sales veteran who has spent much of his career at top 500 financial industry organizations serving community banks, thrifts and credit unions with both in-house and outsourced software and service solutions. His focus at BSG Financial Group will be on introducing the company’s revenue and compliance solutions to financial institutions in the southeast and mid-Atlantic states and forming strategic partnerships across the country.

Shifflett joins BSG Financial Group from Unisoft International (SMA Solutions) in Kingwood, TX, where he served as Vice President, delivering enterprise wide IT automation and predictive analytic software and services both domestically and internationally. Prior to Unisoft, Shifflett held several executive sales positions, including Vice President-Southeast Region for Strunk & Associates, where he assumed a consultative role for banks and credit unions assisting with compliance solutions, as well as services to increase income and consumer satisfaction, including overdraft management strategies. Shifflett also served as Regional Sales Manager for Fiserv in Atlanta, Ga., providing core processing software and services; and prior to that, he was Regional Sales Manager for Harland Financial Solutions, where he primarily focused on providing core processing software to credit unions.

Shifflett attended James Madison University and is a graduate of The Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management, University of Virginia.
