HAMPDEN, ME (December 8, 2015) — As Business Lending Solutions (BLS) continues to grow, it has announced Al Moroney as loan officer in Midcoast Maine and welcomed back Will Hatt as senior vice president and chief operating officer.
Moroney, an esteemed professional in the Midcoast Maine region, has more than 30 years of banking and lending experience. Previously a senior loan officer at Coastal Enterprises, Inc., he gained a wealth of experience as the co-chair of the Asset and Liability Committee, as well as mentoring junior commercial lenders. Moroney earned both his master’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maine, Orono.

Hatt, a Maine native, has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, the senior vice president and senior commercial lender at Skowhegan Savings Bank, he has returned to BLS to support its immense growth. Hatt, who has achieved various awards from past employers, completed the Prudential / Pentatura College training program, the Key Bank / Pinnacle Corporation Banking program, as well as various financial services classes through the University of Maine System.
With 12 credit union partners, Business Lending Solutions, LLC, was created in 2004 to provide Maine credit unions with commercial loan officers and business lending experience. Business Lending Solutions has helped hundreds of businesses from all over Maine with business loans of all types.
