Capital Credit Union announces business services officer Shane Mahlum

GREEN BAY, WI (June 1, 2021) — Capital Credit Union today announced the hiring of Shane Mahlum as a business services officer at their Fargo Veterans Blvd. Branch. Mahlum has more than eight years of professional experience in the financial services and agriculture lending industries.

As a business services officer and member of the Ag Lending Team, which maintains a portfolio that spans North Dakota, Mahlum will focus on lending and delivery of multiple business products with an emphasis on building new business and agriculture lending relationships in the Fargo market.

“As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome Shane to our team,” says Market President East Region Kevin Kragnes. “He will be an essential part of helping Capital Credit Union expand into the agricultural lending arena in the Fargo area and beyond.”

Mahlum joins the Capital Credit Union team from AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Grand Forks, where he had been a loan officer since 2017. Prior to AgCountry, he worked for four years as a lender at Dacotah Bank in Bowbells. Mahlum earned a bachelor’s degree in aviation management from University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
