Kimberly, WI – Capital’s Annual Food Drive raced off to a great start on June 12, during their 9th Annual Shopping Cart Races kick-off event held in the parking lot at Capital’s 855 Eisenhower Drive in Kimberly. Dressed in costume, nine teams of Capital employees and two teams from the local Larry’s Piggly Wiggly grocery store competed for Best Costume and winner of the races. While a Piggly Wiggly Team took top honors in both, Capital teams taking close seconds.
To support the cause and draw extra attention to the Food Drive this year, some of Capital’s Board directors formed the “Food Wrapper” team and four senior managers made up the “Happy to End Hunger” team.
