Cari Palmer named President/CEO of Energy Plus CU

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (February 7, 2018) — Energy Plus CU (EPCU) has selected Cari Palmer as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. She assumed these responsibilities at the $32 million Indianapolis-based credit union on Jan. 12. Palmer succeeds Scott Armstrong, who has taken a position with an out-of-state credit union.

“Being a part of the credit union movement has been such a blessing, and I’m thrilled to get the opportunity to take on this new adventure,” she said. “I hope to carry on the EPCU mission and work with the staff and board to continue to grow the credit union and serve our members.”

Palmer has been with Energy Plus CU since 2008, most recently as vice president where she has been primarily responsible for operations. She is active in credit union advocacy initiatives and is currently the chairman of ICUPAC (Indiana Credit Union Political Action Committee). Additionally, she is a member of the Indiana League’s Political Involvement Leadership Advisory Committee, Emerging Leadership Advisory Group, and Events Committee. She is an alumna of the League’s ignite program, and she was the recipient of the League’s Emerging Leadership Award in 2014.
