INDIANAPOLIS, IN (November 12, 2014) -- Cari Palmer of Energy Plus Credit Union in Indianapolis is a recipient of the 2014 Emerging Leadership Award from the Indiana Credit Union League.
Palmer is Vice President at Energy Plus CU. A six-year employee of the credit union, she worked in the marketing area and in operations before she was promoted to vice president last year. She has represented her credit union by attending the League’s Legislative Affairs Forum and CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference several times. She is an alumnae of the League’s ignite initiative, and she is a current member of the League’s Emerging Leadership Advisory Group and the Political Involvement Leadership Advisory Group.
The Emerging Leadership Award was developed in order to recognize the next generation of credit union leaders in Indiana for their accomplishments and for their potential to be an Indiana credit union leader in the future. Palmer was honored October 17 during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet, a special event during the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.
