LAS VEGAS, NV (November 25, 2025) |
Clark County Credit Union (CCCU) is inviting its members and the community to participate in a holiday food drive, running from December 1 to 12, to benefit HELP of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families, youth and young adults in need.
The holiday food drive follows CCCU’s previous effort with HELP, including a successful employee cereal drive in May for World Hunger Day that provided hundreds of cereal boxes to local homeless youth at the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center. CCCU is excited to partner again with HELP and extends an invitation to the community to join the effort during this season of giving and kindness.
CCCU will accept nonperishable food donations at any of its six branch locations from December 1 to 12. Food items to consider donating:
- Instant potatoes
- Gravy mix
- Canned soup or broth
- Canned vegetables
- Boxed pasta and rice side dishes
- Canned fruit
- Canned meat (ham, tuna, chicken)
Please, do not donate expired food or commercial-sized cans.
Monetary cash donations are also welcome and can be made at any CCCU branch or by calling 702-228-2228 to transfer from your CCCU account.
"The holiday season is a time for giving back," said Crystal Price, CCCU’s Director of Marketing and a member of the CCCU Cares committee, the credit union’s philanthropic group. "Our last employee cereal drive inspired us to do it again, only this time with our members. We hope that even more families and young adults will receive the support they need to enjoy a brighter holiday season. Every donation, whether food or monetary, makes a real difference in our community.”
Whether you’re a new or longtime member, CCCU encourages everyone in Las Vegas to support its holiday food drive. To learn more about HELP of Southern Nevada, visit www.helpsonv.org.
