CFE appoints new members to board of directors and supervisory committee
LAKE MARY, FL (August 31, 2017) — CFE is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Person, CPA, to CFE Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors. Mr. Person most recently served CFE as a member of the Supervisory Committee. His previous role provides him with an in-depth understanding of CFE and the credit union industry as a whole.
Mr. Person is a partner at WithumSmith+Brown, PC, one of the largest CPA firms in the United States. With close to four decades of experience in public accounting, his expertise includes accounting and assurance services; business analysis; mergers and acquisitions; tax planning and compliance; and operational and financial consulting.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mr. Person is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He is also treasurer of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Central Florida. Mr. Person’s wealth of knowledge and professional credentials in the financial services industry is welcomed by CFE.
Ms. Ketsia Nortelus has been appointed to the CFE Supervisory Committee to fill the vacancy left by Mr. Person. She brings over 10 years of experience in the Central Florida public education system to her new role as a member of the Supervisory Committee.
