HAMPDEN, ME (June 14, 2016) — Changing Seasons Federal Credit Union located at 115 Mecaw Rd in Hampden will be collecting American Flags for retirement and disposal in connection with the Hampden VFW Post 4633. All flags collected will be prepared per proper flag etiquette and placed into individual paper bags. We will also be distributing American Flag Lapel pins, providing light refreshments and all who come to the branch that day will be entered to win a $50 Visa Gift Card.
The flags will be retired and disposed of at the annual July 4th ceremony at the Hampden Roll Call Memorial adjacent to Hamden’s town office. The event is at 2:00pm on that day ~ all are welcome to attend.
